At First Baptist, we understand that the transition from high school into adulthood can be challenging, but we are here to walk alongside you and equip you with practical wisdom from God’s Word as you navigate this new season of life!

YOUNG ADULTS

AGES 18-25

Sunday Nights 6:30pm

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.

1 Timothy 4:12–13 (ESV)

Your age should not limit your walk with the Lord. In our Young Adults Ministry, we prioritize Biblical teaching, worship, and Godly fellowship every week (And we play some games too!). Come join us!

Hi! I’m Pastor Lochlan.

I have the privilege of leading the Young Adults Ministry at First Baptist. We meet at the church or at someone’s home every week for snacks, teaching, worship, and a game or two! I look forward to seeing you in the group!

The First Baptist young adults meet together twice a week, are involved in various church ministries, and enjoy studying the Word together!

When We Meet

Sunday

Mornings at 9:30am for Worship | Sunday School at 11:15am

There is a dedicated Young Adults Sunday School class that teaches various biblical topics or books of the Bible with the goal of building a Biblical worldview within participants. However, some young adults do attend other adult Sunday School classes if they would like.

Evenings Young Married Couples (18-35) meet at 7:00pm at a member’s house for Growth Group, a time of small group Bible study and sermon review.

Tuesday

Growth Group at 6:30pm at the home of John Lopez, one of the elders at CFBC. A time of fellowship and connection precedes our review of the sermon from Sunday as we dive deeper into it, studying the Word. We end our time together with corporate prayer, lifting each other’s needs up to the Lord.
